Taylor, Angela, Ph.D.
Angela Taylor, Ph.D. is the Director of Community Development at the William Byrd Community House, a nonprofit organization creating pathways to success in Richmond, Va. Taylor brings experience in evaluation, research methods, community engagement and capacity building to William Byrd. She is currently overseeing the Richmond Empowers Youth (REY) capacity building training grant supported by the Capital Compassion Fund through the Office of Health and Human Services. Taylor previously served as faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University in the department of sociology and as a senior research associate at the Survey and Evaluation Research Lab at VCU. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Richmond, teaching courses in management and research methods. Taylor is a founding partner in Technology Assurance Group, Inc., an information systems consulting group based in Richmond. Her primary interests are in community engagement, management and assessment.
