Mitteldorfer, Shirley, B.S., Ed.M., Ed.D.
Shirley Mitteldorfer has more than fifty years of teaching experience. She began as a K-12 classroom teacher in Chesterfield County Public Schools, became a county-wide technology integrator then retired from the county and went to work at Virginia Commonwealth University – in Technology Services. She is the senior instructional training consultant in that department while continuing her many years as a professor at the University of Richmond, and J Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
Shirley earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction and continues to learn and teach in the ever-changing field of technology. Even though she was born and still lives in Midlothian, Shirley has traveled extensively to many European countries, the Caribbean, Canada, and Hawaii. Some things never seem to change yet others constantly evolve and are in motion.
