Milston, Sarah, MPA, CFRE
Sarah began her career in small nonprofits as a one person development shop and since has worked for a wide range of organizations as a full time professional and consultant. Milston Consulting was founded in 2009 with a focus on services for groups who are changing the world including fundraising and development consulting, marketing and social media services. Sarah says, “I use my experience as a development professional to help build fundraising programs from the ground up.”
Sarah is also a Principal Consultant at Floricane, a local consulting firm specializing in creative facilitation, nonprofit consulting, strategic planning and leadership development. At Floricane Sarah manages the nonprofit consulting arm of the business and participate in facilitation and strategic planning.
Through all of her work and teaching, Sarah maintains a passion for giving tools to individuals who are making the world a better place.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Sarah received her BA from Mary Baldwin College. She also holds a Masters of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she concentrated her studies in nonprofit management.
