LaMountain, Dennis, M.S.
Dennis LaMountain is a nationally known human resources consultant who has designed performance management systems, 360 Feedback, and coaching/hiring processes for a wide variety of organizations in the public, private and nonprofit sectors since 1981. He conducts training in performance management, coaching, selection interviewing and other staff development topics, and has created several innovative training programs on employee empowerment, including “How to Receive a Performance Appraisal” and “How to Receive a Delegated Assignment.” LaMountain holds a B.S. in Business Management from Northeastern University and a M.S. in Personnel and Human Resources from Cornell University. He was Management Development manager for Philip Morris prior to starting his consulting business. A graduate of the first Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR) class in 1981, LaMountain has been very active in volunteer roles for LMR, including service as chair of the Leadership and Learning Team.
