Johnson, Salathia, MS
Salathia C. Johnson serves as Director of Financial Foundations an asset building, training and education program that prepares individuals and families with children for homeownership, business or higher education.
She has been with Virginia Supportive Housing for the past nine years and has a Masters Degree in Community and Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of the Grace E. Harris Higher Ground Women’s Leadership Institute.
Salathia is a certified housing counselor through the Virginia Association of Housing Counselors (VAHC) and a certified homeownership education instructor through the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA). Currently, she is a member of the 2010 Class of the Minority Political Leadership Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University.
In her spare time she enjoys volunteering and serves on the Multicultural Advisory Board at VHDA.
