What is the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence (PNE)?

The Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence is the Richmond region’s catalyst for advancing nonprofits. In a 2006 survey of nonprofit agencies throughout Greater Richmond, 63% of participants said they would benefit from a resource center dedicated to building organizational capacity. The Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence was founded to both meet the needs of individual agencies and to improve the collective strength of the region’s nonprofit sector with a focus on the following core areas:

  • Professional and leadership development ← that’s us!!
  • Community knowledge
  • Civic engagement
  • Organizational development

The Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence brings together the programs of Nonprofit Learning Point, ConnectRichmond, Hands On Greater Richmond, andConsulting Solutions under one umbrella to ensure nonprofits across the region have access to high quality professional development, networking and training opportunities, and resources critical to the success of Richmond’s charitable sector. The collective power of these partner programs helps nonprofits maximize their efforts to achieve their missions while leveraging resources to ensure that their offerings remain free or at a reasonably low cost to our community.
